A good life has meaning

In my opinion I think that a good life is one with a meaning. You can be poor and without the latest tech in the world or some smartphone that the coolest kid in the grade has but, the one thing that you have that they might not, would be a meaning. For me that's enough. I don't need a smartphone or a machine all I need would be a meaning and a house with food, water, toilets, and a shower. If someone puts me down because Im not the coolest kid in the grade or even cool. I don't care. All I care about is that I have a meaning and you don't. You can tell that someone has a meaning if they are happy on a regular basis and don't harass people in any way. You can tell if someone doesn't have a meaning if they are sad and depressed all the time they could be getting over a breakup or some family issues or they could be depressed about not having a meaning or can't find their meaning. Me, well I have a meaning mine is sort of like a temporary meaning I very from meaning to meaning on a regular basis. I could be a sports jock or a class clown sometimes I pretend to be an actor and say lines from movies that I've heard my favorite actors say. So every one has a meaning they just don't know it yet. I found mine be going with the flow and seeing were it takes me.

Learning Profile NN

Since I'm a Learning profile NN that means that I am active and Gestalt. Gestalt means that I use the right side of the brain and not the left. I look at the big picture and don't pay attention to details until later on. These are some things that I want my teacher to know about me being a learning Profile NN.

I learn best when I sit halfway back on the right side to hear but where I can also move around without disturbing other learners. Something that would help me would be having something like clay, knitting or doodling. Since I'm a boy I like clay and doodling not knitting. I need to walk around once and a wile because I cant sit still. I have ADHD Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I also need to play games that focus my eyes so like playing crazy 8's or Speed (card games). The strategies that would help me in my learning are things that I can use in class without distractions. I would like my teachers to know this about me that I can be a bit impulsive and talk without thinking and I also like lots of activities so things that make me active but not too active I also hope that my teacher can give me something to work on t distracting the people around me.

Odiseuss and his men find themselves on an island that cycopses rule. Then polepipheus the cyclops trapped them. They escape by getting him drunk then Odiseuss stabs him in the eye. Since odiseuss called himself nowun the cyclops said nowun heart me which let odiseus's men escape under the sheep.

Greek myths

I enjoyed The story of when Icarus and his dad Daedalus tried to fly and Daedalus told him not to fly to high because the sun will melt the wax and if you fly to low the feathers will get wet because of the water. I liked this story because it is one that I have never seen before and it was quite interesting. It was not the characters that made it interesting it was the fact that I have never actually understood the story until now. One thing that the stories had in common was that the narrator was the same and the talking dog was the same. Another thing that was the same was that all the stories were about a boy in some way.

white Mountains Freedom quotes

The quote refers to freedom.The author is making an inference that a persons feelings and desires to live his own life is suppressed. For anyone who has been capped they do not have a choice to live a life of their own. Though are may be endowed with good attributes to live a life meaningfully. Capping destroyed it for capped persons are merely reduced to robots or slaves living on instructions from the tripods .They are unable to make any choices. Chapter 6 gives an account of the three people stay in the castle. Although life is comfortable. Will,Henry and Bean Pole had not backed away from the ridges of escaping. Compounding with the good life, a knight hood offered to him and the company of Eloise. Will had wanted freedom and give up all luxury of life in the castle. Will sees the capped people as lacking in the essence of humanity and not having any courage against the Tripod. He deposited them.

The Tripods capped everybody in the hierarchy system. They capped common people and also those who have the power. By capping people who have power, they command orders to these people who in turn commands to the common people. All commands are passed through the mental mesh of the cap. Will is comfortable with Comte, Comtesses and Eloise but frustrated with them being capped. This can be revealed on page (116) that "more and more I had come to see the capped as lacking what seemed to me the essence of humanity, the vital spark of defiance against the rulers of the world. And I had despised them for it-despised even, for all their kindness to me and their goodness, the Comte and Comtesse."

Will is against being capped and feels that capped persons are slaves to the tripods. (108) ("No after all, they obey the Tripods. They are slaves. They treat us kindly,but they must not know our plans". This was explained by Beanpole to him.

White Mountains

Will and I are similar in some really obvious ways. One thing that makes me and Will the same is that we are both boys. Another thing that Will and I are the same at is that we both have the same name basically. Another thing that we have in-common is that we are both smaller then some of our cousins. So, on the outside, Will and I are very similar.

Now here are some more detailed things that we have in common. We both have strong ideas and will fight with other people so that they listen to our ideas. Will and I have enough money because so do our families, so we can wear nice clothes and have enough to eat. Will and I also travel to other places in out world a lot.

My profile

In class we are learning about ancient Egypt but our most recent class was about learning what side of the brain that we use. I use my right side of my brain and in my opinion the right side is the creative side.

I learn better when I move around  because I can't sit still because I have A.D.H.D That means attention deficit hyperactive disorder.

I need to not distract anyone because if I do then they will not be paying attention to what is going on in class and then they will have a hard time do the homework or classwork

Some strategies that would help me would be to move to a table that isn't occupied by anyone so that I can move around and not disturb anyone.

I would like my teachers to know that I have A.D.H.D That means attention deficit hyperactive disorder. I want them to know this because if I am moving around then I might get in trouble if they don't know this.

Goals and talents

One goal is that I want to be more organized. I am tired of forgetting my stuff, not getting the grades I want because I forget things, and getting yelled at by my mom and dad when I forget things.  They take away things like Facebook and computer games when I don't have what I need.  I will try to be more organized by writing in my planer in every class. Another way I can be more organized is that I can try to get things done right away so I don't have time to forget them.


If I am more organized then I will not be bugged by my parents and I won't feel stressed because I am doing things at the last minute and forgetting things.  I will also be able to have a full planner and know where all of my things are all of the time.


Another goal I have is to get better at guitar.  My dad's friend came at Christmas and can play like he is in a rock band.  I would like to be as good as he is, so I need to practice more and not fight with my dad when he asks me to practice.  I am in after school guitar and band, so I want to also try to join another band.  


If I do this, I will be ready to be a lead player in the band next year.  I will know more about guitar and bass and then maybe practicing won't be so hard for me to do.


On my holidays, I went to India with my family.  We went to where we used to live in Delhi at the American Embassy School.  We met lots of old friends that still live there.  We also visited the orphanage that my sister and I came from.  We also went to the desert to ride camels and see forts.  It was a pretty good trip because sometimes I got bored on long car and train rides.  The dirt and smells surprised me a lot and made me uncomfortable.  It was also really cold because we were in the mountains and the desert and I didn't have enough winter clothes.
